Is L'Moniteur a driving school?
No. L'Moniteur is a platform connecting learners with driving instructors. We don't provide training or prepare your licence application.
How much does a lesson cost?
Each instructor sets their hourly rate, shown before booking. With a request with offers, you propose a price and instructors reply with their offer.
How do I pay for my lesson?
Directly to the instructor. The app takes no payment from learners and is free for you to use.
Can I choose a female instructor?
Yes. In the booking preferences, choose "Female" and only available female instructors are shown.
Are instructors verified?
Before activating a profile, our team checks the instructor's ID, instructor authorisation and photo. Reviews come only from learners who completed a lesson.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, from the booking in the app, as long as the lesson hasn't started. Learners are never charged a fee.
Is my phone number visible?
Your number never appears in search results or requests. It is shared only with the other person in a confirmed booking, so they can call you if the in-app call doesn't go through.
Which cities?
Anywhere instructors are registered. The "Instructors" page lists cities with registered instructors; the app shows who is available around you.
I'm an instructor, how do I sign up?
Download the app, choose "I'm an instructor", complete your profile and send your documents. Your profile is activated after verification.
