Booking and cancellation
This page describes how bookings currently work in the app. The terms of use remain the reference document.
When is a booking confirmed?
A booking is confirmed when the instructor accepts it (instant booking) or when the learner accepts an instructor's offer (request with offers). Both are notified.
Cancelling as a learner
You can cancel from the booking as long as the lesson hasn't started, optionally giving a reason. You are never charged a fee.
Cancelling as an instructor
The instructor can cancel a booking that hasn't started. The learner is notified immediately and can book another instructor. No platform fee is taken for a cancelled booking.
Payment and refunds
The app takes no payment from learners, so there is nothing to refund through L'Moniteur. The lesson is paid directly to the instructor.
Repeated cancellations
Repeated cancellations without reason may be reviewed by our team and can lead to an account suspension, for learners and instructors alike.
